- I just bought an A2000, and it included 5 SCSI cards made by an outfit
- called Pacific Peripherals. They are called Overdrives. Does anyone
- know anything about these cards? The first line on the pamphlet reads:
- "The OverDrive card and software is compatible with the new Amiga 1.3
- operating system." I'm very new (about 10hrs) to the World of Amiga, but
- I know that 1.3 isn't exactly "new" anymore. Hell, my system has 1.2 in
- it. Anyways, are these cards of any value? I'm planning on upgrading to
- at _least_ WB2.04 fairly soon. Does anyone know if/think these cards
- will work with later Workbenches? The guy I bought the system from never
- tried them out, but he called the company only to find out they went
- under a few years ago. :(
-
- Any insight would be greatly appreciated to this
- frustrated-with-IBM-Clones-moving-on-to-Amiga user! :)
